About Nitasha Kumar

“Do what you love and you’ll always love what you do!” Billy JoelGrowing up in an environment that enabled me, encouraged me and empowered me to always do what I love, led me to follow my passion and make it my profession today. Hi, I am Nitasha Kumar, Leadership and Communication coach for Children and Teens. The stage has been my best friend and building relationships has been the fuel for my soul. Every platform I walked on, every experience I encountered in life gave me the opportunity to make friends and be happy. In the past 26 years, work and life has taken me across the country and across the globe. From Raymond in Mumbai, to Spazzio in Delhi, JLL in Bangalore to my own ventures, KidsArtbyNitasha and WeePaint in New York, I always did what I loved and loved what I did. Along the way I learnt important skills of project management, team work, collaboration, leadership, people management and the importance of good communication. But it was at the Toastmasters clubs, where I polished my communication skills, met my mentors and realised my true passion lies in coaching children and teens.Moving back to India after a decade in New York was truly the turning point in my life, personally and professionally. Being overwhelmed with the social, emotional and cultural changes in his life, my little 7 year old lost his confidence and assertiveness and was not able to articulate his feelings. It was then that I decided to take things into my own hands. I worked with him, bit by bit, day by day, and helped him find his voice and regain his confidence. With this decision of using my passion to overcome a personal challenge was born WeeTalk, a public speaking program for children ages 6 years to 14 years. I founded WeeTalk so that I can reach out to so many other little children like him that are either shy, or bullied or intimidated, not picked for that coveted speech competition at school or those who just want to build more confidence and fluency.WeeTalk believes that every child has something valuable to say, and our goal is to help them say it with confidence and flairWeeTalk believes in building confidence, finding your voice, and having fun together So if you know a little one who could use a boost in the public speaking department, or if you just want to see them shine, come check us out at WeeTalk. We can't wait to see what they have to say!Reach out to me at weetalkspeakersclub@gmail.com to join me in my journey today to encourage and empower the leaders of tomorrow.#communication #leadership #teenmentor #childrencoach #confidence
