I am an experienced property and construction litigator. I act for clients in the private, public and third sectors, advising on a wide range of disputes in both fields. My clients have included local authorities, banks, investment funds, charities and not for profit organisations, plcs, registered social landlords and high net worth individuals. I have extensive experience in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal as well as experience in other dispute resolution forums including construction adjudication, arbitration (including LCIA arbitration), mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.Whilst well versed in all litigation forums I am a keen advocate of dispute avoidance and a large part of my practice involves advisory work to try and ensure that disputes do not arise in the first place.I am a member of the Property Litigation Association, the Society of Construction Law and the RICS dilapidations forum. I have also written for Property Week, the Solicitor's Journal and the Property Law Journal. I am delighted to once again be recognised in the 2018 / 19 edition of the Legal 500 for property litigation (London) and construction litigation (South East), as well as being named as a leading individual for property litigation (South East). Since September 2018 I have been a part of the Kent regional coordination team for the Society of Construction Law .
