 To design & develop OEM products for automotive industries, MHE & RSP Products as per AIS-104 & AIS-033 STD for Plastics Molding Processes. To analyze the product designs given by clients for Feasibility of manufacturing. To create 3D Models for Product’s, Moulds, Jigs & fixtures – For Casting and Metal forming processes. To prepare 2D Drawings of all Designs as per GD&T & ASME standards (Y14.5). To perform DFMEA & PFMEA to ensure design meet manufacturing, technical & Customer satisfaction. To attend/visit Customer/Vendor end for development discussions with the representatives forProduct/Child parts development. To design improved Vehicle Component such as Chassis, Tank Mounting etc. for Tractor vehicles. To prepare Project planning schedules, Control Plans, APQP Timeline, BOM & BOQ and makingsure implementation plans are achieved in association with suppliers/vendors to meet timelines witheffective use of MS office. To upgrade existing products for automation, Process simplification and better reliability of operations. Rapid Prototyping to Production parts for automotive components. To develop & finalize Vendors, Cost negotiation, follow up for all machining activities. To design & develop SPM (Special Purpose Machines) for molding processes. To perform static and dynamic analysis using analysis software’s - ANSYS, SW, and NX etc. To design & develop new innovative ideas into products for Patent approval. To prepare and maintain design documents such as Manufacturing Feasibility, APQP sheets, APQPTimeline, PPAP and CP etc. To review and attend development activities with Cross-functional team (CFT). Timely follow-up with Quality & Production Team for Production & Proto-Type Sampling activities
