Responsibilities• Receiving tender documents from prospective clients. Prepare letter of interest or acknowledge theinvitation.• Preparation of tender analysis and discuss the nature and scope of work with the GeneralManager up on receiving the tender enquiry from the clients.• Tender Clarification with main contractor.• Arranging the drawings and specifications to the suppliers and ensuring their propercoordination and support in arranging the quotations on time.• Study, analyze and prepare reports of all the technical, commercial and contractualaspects of the complete tender and discuss with the General Manager about the nature ofthe project, potential competitors, required recourses, financial and manpower requirements etc.• Prepare technical, commercial and contractual queries and generate requests forclarifications (RFC) to the client or to the consultant and follow with them.• Prepare list of potential vendors and subcontractors based on tender vendors list andnominated sub contractors list if any, and based on the previous experience of theirperformance.• Establish materials lists and send enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors.• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits and evaluates the actual site conditions.• Respond to vendors and sub-contractors pre bid queries.• Receive vendors and sub-contractors technical and commercial bids, review and analyze,request clarification if necessary and select technical and commercially acceptableproposals.• Negotiate with the suppliers and subcontractors and secure the better price from them.• Value engineering.• Preparation of estimation and costing of the project and compile the complete tender.• Final submission of proposal to Main contractor.
