Using my initiative and passion for the fashion industry myself and a friend set up a small business during University called Emika Fashion. Emika Fashion offers vintage clothing and accessories. Setting up this business has taught me management responsibility, social media management, promotion, brand awareness and advertising skills. Emika Fashion was recently involved in Edinburgh Metropolitan Fashion Week, which allowed further exposure and expansion of the business, this event gave us a great opportunity to establish and build relationships with fashion bloggers, partnerships and event promoters. Being involved with events all over Scotland has been very successful and effective for Emika Fashion, as we have recently expanded our audience and collection by adding a Menswear collection.
