I am a dynamic and compassionate leader with over 15 years of professional experience across the non-profit, public, and private sectors, including at the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Frayme and Accenture. As both a Director and Executive Director, I have overseen and managed the effective implementation of country-wide, data-driven mental health initiatives and programs with a focus on workplace mental health, employment for individuals with mental illness, youth mental health and substance use, and suicide prevention. My progressively greater senior responsibility across people management and leadership, strategic visioning, knowledge mobilization, program evaluation, policy development, and equity has enabled me to confidently steer large-scale national projects and initiatives, advance strategic goals, and make cost-effective decisions. I strive to create highly inclusive, supportive, and encouraging working environments in which employees can uncompromisingly realize their full potential. And I pride myself on my emotional intelligence and my ability to build and maintain trusted and true relationships with a range of stakeholders. I have been awarded a MSc in Biotechnology from Northwestern University, a Graduate Diploma in Public Policy from Carleton University, and the Certified Healthcare Executive Accreditation from The Canadian College of Healthcare Leaders.
