• Overall Profitability analysis of the Bangalore & Bidadi Diesel Plants and preparation of the various MIS reports for the management.• Driving cost reduction projects with the cross-functional team.• Handled relocation project of the Bangalore Diesel System Plant.• Preparation of Quarterly Forecast and Target Business plan for Bangalore and Bidadi Plant.• Preparation & coordination for Plant presentations, Mid Term strategies for the plant management.• Implementation of the Budget Control Tool in Bangalore Plant for overall Budget control and analysis.• Coordination & preparing Investment Appraisal of new products including capex analysis, make or buy decisions.• Implemented Target Business Plan.• Analysis of the slow and non-moving stock items and preparation of the strategy for handling the same.

• Quarterly preparation & release of standard cost.• Variance analysis & commentary on Material cost for P & L forecast and standard cost at cost component split level - Material cost, Conversion cost, fixed cost and other Supply chain indirect.• Liaising with Procurement Operations & Procurement finance for understanding the material cost movement.• Liaising with profit centers for explaining the forecast and cost movements.• Liaising with factories to understand the movement in monthly actual cost.• Purchase price variance analysis (forecast vs actual), Consumption Analysis, Month end closing activities etc.• Set up standardized process across regions and implement Global product costing and Forecast models to improve forecast accuracy, benchmark supply chain cost and derive maximum return.• Computation of Transfer Pricing.• Prepare and report monthly MIS related to Country and at Global level to business.

• Responsible for Standard Costing: Evaluate actual manufacturing cost and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs for Variance Analysis.• Provide management with reports comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products explaining monthly budget variances to senior management.• Compute/ Provide cost for each product for updating of new/ existing material for cost & price updating into the system.• Evaluation of De-Bottlenecking parts of the production line.• Suggesting ways to minimize the production cost of the company and maximize the revenue.• Monthly reporting of MIS – Consumption Analysis, Monitoring Overhead, Material Cost, Labour Cost, Production Efficiency and Yield Analysis.• Conduct and reconcile monthly physical inventories.• Overseeing the Store Management and maintaining reduced inventory levels.
