As the Regional Director for India and South Asia at PCI Security Standards Council, I lead the Council's efforts to ensure the security of payment card transactions in the region. I have over 14 years of experience in the payment security domain, and I am passionate about raising awareness and adoption of the PCI standards among various stakeholders, including payment brands, assessors, organizations, government entities, and regulators.I am also an innovative thinker, speaker, television personality, and technical writer, who has been recognized among the "Top 50 Cyber Security Leaders of India 2021". I have been actively involved in research and development around the role of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, in protecting payment infrastructure from sophisticated cyber attacks. I hold a Masters in Cyber Law and Information Security from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, and several professional certifications in payment security and risk management.
