Nitin is the Vertical Market Leader for Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) group within Cognizant. He also leads an Intelligent Process Automation practice for the Product and Resources Vertical which includes Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel & Hospitality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Automotive, and Energy utility clients across NA. Nitin managed Insurance vertical in North America for 2 successful years. He also manages LATAM Intelligent Process Automation team. His team is focused on efficiency, effectiveness, and enabling a better quality of business process solutions. Nitin served as Director - Intelligent Process Automation from January 2016 - September 2017.

Nitin worked with business and IT teams across clients in a multi-vendor environment. He implemented organizational QA Assessment/consulting for customers to assess the current state and propose and implement strategies and vision for a managed services model. He also set up a managed services model – a TcoE for an RCG customer and developed a managed services “outcome-based pricing” model.Nitin worked with business and IT teams across clients in a multi-vendor environment. Nitin developed online QA processes for automotive giants such as Ford, Chrysler and their suppliers. He directed the test environment setup, a test management tool, defect tracking mechanism and metrics tracking. He also developed a local and international testing plan for testing PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) product. He led a team of 3 members to test 6 areas: German, Korean, Japanese, French, Simplified and Traditional Chinese

Nitin worked on developing Java Applet screens for the Enj product and on Java development of the Enj product.

Nitin gained three years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry, where he implemented KAIZEN and JIT standards to improve productivity and efficiency. He also implemented ISO and total quality management (TQM) as part of a cross-functional team and developed QA processes for testing SUVs in the paint shop, shower leakage and road tests. He created an online system for auto suppliers for tracking defective products with detailed analysis.
