- Built the QA Team for supporting the client at Nearshore (Montevideo). Started with 5 team members which grew to 60+ by the time I left. - Led the QA services which was a separate Delivery Services as we took over the QA for all the internal projects for the client. This task included being the Delivery manager making sure the utilization, Quality and upskilling of the QA team Members (Testers, Test Analyst, Test Leads, Automation and Performance testers) and owning all the QA activities being delivered from Uruguay location- Mentor the Team members by having a regular 1:1 and weekly team meetings- Participating in the RPFs and create extensive reply to it with solutions and savings- Led the team from Nearshore in the Transition of projects from various vendors to TCS which required more than 300+ new QA hires - Participated in a week long Workshop with the clients at Onsite client location and walk them through the transition plan, Hiring updates and new tools adoption and usage- Led the Training and Development plan for the new hires to get them ready to be deployed into projects as this was their first IT job- Was the Learning and Development(L&D) SPOC for the whole Project Services for the account at Nearshore(250+ associates). This included planning for the certifications, upskilling and planning for new technologies to learn which could be used in the projects. Examples include, getting the Front end and back end developers trained to become Full Stack devs, Manual QA into Automation and Performance QAs- Was one of the few Agile Coach at the Uruguay location and conducted sessions and trainings for educating the folks in Agile, Scrum and Kanban- Spent more than 500+ hours in trainings and PSM certification focused trainings, which helped in more than 100 people obtaining the PSM I certification
