My role involves -- Leading a work package on "Digital Inclusion" as part of one CGIAR research for development initiative on "Digital Innovation". The research focuses on bridging the gender digital divide and enhancing the existing digital services towards gender-transformative outcomes.- Supporting the lead of the Evidence Module of the CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform in implementing the activities and producing and communicating research outputs.- Supporting and contributing to research activities of bilateral projects and other CG research initiatives as part of the IRRI Gender and Livelihoods Research Unit.

Associate Scientist – Gender Research and Evidence, based at the IRRI India Office in New Delhi.Key responsibilities: • Support the Evidence Module leader, Module and Platform teams in supporting the implementation of module activities and managing associated partnerships. • Lead coordination and support to teams including CGIAR and non-CGIAR partners engaged in evidence generation in key thematic areas in gender research. • Lead coordination and organization of stakeholder and partner workshops as required. • Contribute to the development of communication and knowledge products of the Evidence Module working closely with the Platform Communications team.

• Data collection and analysis for doctoral research work titled “Women's Labour in Rice Cultivation.” • Participated and presented findings from the research work at different platforms (workshops/conferences) organized by institutions like UNU-WIDER, The International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE), International Association for Agricultural Economics (IAAE), etc. • Coordinated and organized research workshops and training as part of the Economic Analysis Unit, Indian Statistical Institute. • Provided teaching assistance on undergraduate courses (Macroeconomics, Development Economics). • Research Collaborator on a project titled “Women in Agriculture and Rural Production in India” of the Foundation for Agrarian Studies, Bangalore. As part of the project, I participated in fieldwork in two villages of Karnataka to conduct time-use surveys of rural women.

• Assisted a team of economic statisticians in the formulation of the 13th Five Year Plan in Kerala.• Provided data assistance using secondary datasets such as Census, National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Labour Force Surveys, etc., to calculate various socio-economic indicators for the annual report and plan document.
