I enjoy creating emotional connections for brands and its audiences; especially where I can employ my love for problem-solving and developing creative solutions.After joining the NYC creative community right after completing my undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon, I honed my skills as a creative technologist and brand strategist helping clients achieve their marketing goals. For over 20 years, I have helped make businesses stand out and stand proud; from developing initial concepts to delivery/deployment. This involved tasks such as analysis, ideation, research, refining key messages, producing design assets, and implementing them into the overall digital strategy.Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous talented individuals, constantly learning and growing professionally while forming great friendships. As a lifelong learner and hopeless romantic, I wholeheartedly embrace the idea that the journey itself is the greatest reward.Here are 3 interesting facts about me:1. I have lived in Indonesia, Japan, Qatar, Korea, and New Zealand before settling down in NYC for the majority of my career. This cultivated my ability to bridge cultural gaps and foster meaningful connections with individuals from all walks of life. Now, I call Taiwan my home as I have enjoyed many years here learning the culture, language and developing new friendships.2. My poem about a featured dessert at Eleven Madison Park (ranked #1 restaurant in the world in 2017) awarded me (and then gf/now wife) an exclusive dining experience with a visit from the executive chef. Also, my short story about fatherhood won 2nd place in a national contest by H Mart (the largest Asian supermarket chain in the US) .3. I've made beats for Samsung! I created original compositions for Samsung Electronics' online marketing campaign. As a producer and a DJ, I also won a DJ mix contest, earning a slot to perform at a music festival on the Jersey shore. To this day, my passion for music remains unwavering, and you can catch me DJing on Twitch from time to time (hence the banner image of my records).
