As a Senior Designer, I guided UX design and creative strategy on a project basis. I engaged with stakeholders and clients to transform their complex ideas and vision into cohesive design concepts. During projects, I shaped the scope of work, vision, value proposition, and metrics; researched and defined user personas; monitored the competitive landscape and market trends to ensure our designs remained at the cutting edge for the client’s industry; and design storyboards for multiple media. Also, I was responsible for developing engaging pitches, creating screeners and interview questions for the user testing process, and facilitating live interviews. Achievements:• Played a key role in the rebranding of our design team, now known as Design Studios, and shaped the vision for Design Studios as a standalone brand to elevate the value for customers. • Spearheaded the UX development of an internal tool in partnership with a large multinational tech client’s in-house team. • Navigated COVID-19 by continuing to deliver world-class design and quickly pivoting our strategy to increase our focus on the digital and virtual space as experiential events and designs had to change. • Joined a diverse Steering Committee for Racial Equity discussions, which were initiatives designed to create learning opportunities about bias and devise anti-racist actions individuals could take to improve the team culture.• Introduced regular informal Zoom Coffee Chats to maintain engagement and collaboration among the team during COVID. • Contributed to the global training program for designers by defining brand standards and design expectations for the Design Studios division. • Led the effort across a global team in multiple time zones on creating a proposal for a high-visibility client. • Coached and mentored colleagues with a focus on professional development, including regular mentoring of three team members, which resulted in promotions and growth opportunities

During this time, I led concept creation and vision planning for themed experiential events, engaging with stakeholders to showcase the firm’s quality that set it apart from the competition. I reimagined corporate events concepts to become fully bespoke experiences that delivered for internal and external customers. Additionally, I created event brand and style guides for each experience; mentored the design staff; assisted with recruiting; managed vendor relationships; and administered budgets. Achievements:• Spearheaded the branding and creative strategy for a launch of a transformative healthcare benefits program, communicating change and generating enthusiasm among employees for 18 offices in North America. • Created an inaugural marketing event concept focused on the consumer space, which included reinventing location aesthetics, and generated enthusiasm that supported the need for a wait list and standing room only participation. • Continued to lead strategy on the biennial partner event as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team. • Developed a one-of-a-kind packaging concept with the goal of championing AR/VR opportunities with the Partner group. • Served as Art Director on a YouTube series pilot, delivering from concept through completion in a week.

In the early days of my tenure with Boston Consulting Group, I served as Graphic Designer from 1/2016–1/2017 and Presentation Designer from 9/2011–12/2015. As a Graphic Designer, I collaborated with the creative team on shaping the vision and scope of the team, advocating for user-centered design. Also, I reimagined events to be thematic and capture the overall brand story through all elements. Previously, as Presentation Designer, I elevated the visual design and appeal of our pitch decks and managed up to 40 projects per week. Achievements:• Transformed our biennial event for the Partner group, totaling more than 2K attendees, from a traditional corporate event to a full customized experience that engaged participants from end-to-end. • Led branding, collateral design, and onsite execution for multiple global events, across major metropolitan areas in the US and abroad. • Guided the pivot of the event as it transitioned from Miami to Chicago, which included redesigning our brand identity for the new location and adjusting the theme within six weeks, due to a public health emergency • Managed onsite event logistics, including engaging with keynote speakers in transforming their rough content to a full engaging presentation in minutes. • Partnered with our Global Chief of Staff on creating the brand and vision for our global meeting events, which resulted in a transformation to an Olympics-like model where we captured the spirit of each location for each event.

In this role, I drove brand storytelling and marketing strategy for an industry-renowned wholesale tradeshow event that brings together the largest selection of souvenirs and gift vendors from across the US and beyond, alongside buyers from tourist sites (national parks, zoos, gift shops, retail). I designed large format event graphics, advertising collateral, promotional materials, and a 240-page buyer’s guide. Also, I interviewed vendors and wrote content for the website. Achievements: • Elevated our brand by using vibrant colors and reshaping the logo to stand out in the modern marketplace. • Launched an interview series to boost audience interest and engagement, transforming public perception through these ongoing interviews and vendor stories featured on our website.
