Beautiful Bharat is a citizens’ initiative, working for cleaner cities, a beautiful nation and a greener planet, through campaigns aiming to drive sustainable habits in all citizens, which in turn can impact the cleanliness and beauty of our cities. I supported the team working on their flagship campaign, StopIndiaSpitting, now a national movement. As part of resources created to spread the campaign message of ‘No spitting’, I made a significant contribution by creating many items added to campaign collateral including posters, gifs and videos. I also provided input during brainstorming sessions.

My one month stint at brand-comm was a great learning curve. My internship began by taking baby steps, learning about our clients, the target media, and a lot of research. Soon I was pitching story ideas to journalists and publications, drafting press releases. I also managed to achieve a handful of conversions.

The Global Communication Project (GlobCom) is an international initiative coordinated by15 universities, across 15 countries, representing five continents. Virtual teams are formed with representatives from each participating university. Teams are provided with a communication brief from an international real-life client and have to develop a creative and realistic solution, similar to a real-life pitch situation.
