I spent 6 months in the Access team, designing brackets, ladders, platforms, PSLs while following Lloyds Code for Appliances in Marine Environments. Designed for manufacture brackets, ladders, platforms and stepladders for tower access. Following the Access team, I spent 4 months in Life-Cycle Support providing documentation of manuals for the equipment. I then spent 6 months in Mechanical Design. Responsible for the initial design of an anti-deflection strut for pipeline end termination interface. I have experience using AutoCAD and FEA analysis. I have advanced Autodesk Inventor experience for modelling and draughting. Supported other team members where necessary to complete projects within the agreed time frame where I learnt the importance of teamwork and interpersonal communication to produce the best work possible. I also had to communicate with other teams and disciplines to raise any issues or inform them of required amendments. I became skilled in planning and organisation in order to meet deadlines. The Covid-19 pandemic meant I was flexible and adaptable in working in a virtual environment.

I used engineering drawings to assemble electric motors, identifying correct quantities of components.I used the metrology machine to measure accurately component dimensions and reduced the process time 30 minutes by reprogramming the CMM machine to measure automatically. I designed and manufactured warehouse shelves. Each week was dealing with a different task which means I am flexible and adaptable in my work.
