Mississippi Lime Company (MLC), is a leading global supplier of high-calcium lime products and technical solutions. The lime manufacturing industry is a hard-to-abate sector. MLC's approach to sustainability involves addressing pay equity, reducing the carbon footprint, reducing waste, and restoration of land and more at all MLC sites globally. I lead the ESG disclosure efforts by managing the audit and reporting workstream.Key responsibilities:- Manage the ESG audit and reporting workstream including ESG business integration, GHG Inventory process, global ESG data collection, and client and regulatory engagement. - Develop MLC's disclosure strategy utilizing voluntary standards & frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD & EcoVadis) while ensuring compliance with evolving mandatory reporting mandates and regulations.- Participate in MLC's internal governance activities focused on corporate sustainability compliance, reporting and other sustainability matters.- Conduct MLC's Climate Risk Assessment. Ensure methodologies meet best practice and provide insights and action plans to ensure appropriate management of identified ESG risks.

Working for the North America Regional Hub while expanding GRI's influence in North America by facilitating collaboration with stakeholders, coordinating projects with universities, managing GRI sustainability reporting services, and implementing advocacy activities for events such as New York Climate Week and Greenbiz24.Key Achievements:- Defining policy objectives by conducting research on sector and material topics and mapping the rapidly evolving sustainability landscape (ie. ESRS, TCFD, ISSB, SEC climate proposal and CA SB-253 & SB-261).- Coordinate an exclusive independent Working Group aimed at providing a forum for collaboration and to share insights on sustainability reporting made up of impact investors, senior executives and sustainability advocates.

Working for the economy division of UNEP for the Cities Unit while assisting in the coordination, development and implementation of Global Environment Forum -7 Urban Shift projects and activities under multiple work streams directed towards local governments: circular economy in cities, advocacy for sustainable cities such as UNEA5 and WUF11, and capacity building on sustainable and integrated neighbourhoods. Key achievements:- Assisted in the launch of an urban food gardens network in Mexico City aimed at improving biodiversity, food security, and green jobs. - Assisted in the development of a tripartite partnership between UNEP, C40 Cities, and UN-Habitat.- Assisted in the development of the "Green and Thriving Neighbourhoods" online training course.- Identified, compiled, and analyzed information for policy documents, background papers, presentations, and reports while synthesizing information for specialist and non-specialist audiences on topics such as sustainable finance in cities, circular neighborhoods, circular economy in cities, and others.

Conducted field work in the Caucasus region (Nagorno Karabakh) focusing on transboundary and regional solutions to water pollution issues included participating in high-level government meetings.
