As a Digital Communications Manager at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, I create and manage content for the Chamber’s website and social channels, aligned with the strategic communications plan. I also oversee the content and distribution of the Chamber’s electronic newsletters and other email communications and report and interpret media analytics. I collaborate with Chamber staff across departments and volunteer leaders on various communications-related projects, such as writing for publications, speech writing, video production, podcast production, news releases, and event scripts. Additionally, I oversee projects and the management of working relationships with multiple partners on proactive and social media marketing, branding, website development, and SEO. I graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Public Relations in Dec 2021, where I gained a wide variety of knowledge and skills that allow me to adapt and succeed in different settings and situations. I have a passion for learning and growing, and I always seek new opportunities and challenges to expand my horizons. I have worked in the retail, nonprofit, and education sectors, where I developed and maintained a strong social media presence, coordinated campaigns and print materials, supported special events, and directed social media teams. I have also received multiple awards for my creative work, such as the Hermes Gold Award and the International AVA Platinum Digital Award. I consider myself to be a jack of all trades and a master of some, especially in the domain of social media marketing.
