Provided enthusiastic energy to get my assigned section of fans excited to potentially get a promotional T-shirt. I also encouraged fans to participate in the events during timeouts to help them get on the jumbo-tron. I went out of my way to ensure that children had a good time and were engaged and ready to yell for a T-shirt, hopefully creating a positive memory for them of a great gameday experience. If it was the only game they have the chance to attend this season, I hope it is something they talk about for the rest of the season.

This job required me to be on my toes constantly and be aware of everything happening around me. As a dishwasher, it is vital to ensure the restaurant has the dishes necessary to continue making and serving food to customers. Like in most restaurants, we were often short staffed, so I would often fill other roles. I had to be ready and open for anything, as I could be needed anywhere at anytime. I served as a Prep Cook/sauce maker, bread specialist, salad specialist, food runner, busser, and even line cook at times to go along with my daily dishwashing duties. I believe this experience was very important because I will have to be ready to jump into different roles as needed in sport management as well.

I was in charge of working directly with customers and trying to sell them the best battery and light bulb for their needs. I would listen to the customer and their specific desires to help customize my sales pitch to fit each customer. We offered services such as phone repair, watch battery changes, and even car battery removal and installation into vehicles. I would have to be ready for anything, as each and every customer was different. Being able to identify regular or repeat customers was also essential to providing the best service possible. I was a certified phone repair technician as well, operating on Iphones daily. Repairing a phone requires absolute concentration and control over the tools necessary to complete the repair. Even one mistake could cost the business hundreds of dollars, so striving for perfection was a must.
