I am someone who advocates and strives for gender equity in the sports world. I believe women should be receiving the same opportunities as men, and should receive the same media coverage. I want every single woman who desires to work in or play sports as a career to have every opportunity to do so. I WILL help break the stereotypes and stigma around women in sports. I am an Ally for women. I WANT you to succeed. I WANT you to feel safe and welcomed at all times. I plan to use this platform to share significant achievements for women in sports, and to further educate myself on how to be an ally for all. I consider myself to be a beginner in the industry of Sports, having no professional experience. However, there are some skills I have on the business side of things that I believe can help me get to where I want to be. I have an associate's degree in business management, and was taking college level accounting courses in high school. I would consider myself to be good at managing budgets and spending, but would prefer to go into game operations or a recruiting role. I like to think of myself as a leader, someone who will step up and volunteer to do things nobody else wants to do and lead others to do the same.
