Responsible for sourcing, underwriting and negotiating new mortgage transactions. We focus on transactions between $2-$30 million and provide debt solutions with speed and flexibility to suit the needs of the borrower.

Responsible for the management, origination and marketing of Terra Firma Capital Corporation, a publicly traded debt and equity fund fully managed and partially owned by Counsel Corporation. Transaction types included first and second mortgages on retail and multi residential as well as equity loans for both retail and residential development.

Underwrote, managed and originated residential and commercial transactions across Canada and the United States totaling over $1 billion in project value. Transaction types included mezzanine financing, first and second mortgages and a strong focus on joint venture equity. Each transaction was creatively structured to meet the client’s need.

Analyzed the viability of and secured financing for major high rise residential condominium projects in throught the Greater Toronto Area.
