I’m Noah York, and I’m a character artist and 3D modeler. I love to create and just watch as my creations grow from concept phases all the way to the final moving 3D model. I have a huge passion for creating things and learning a lot about the things I create. It doesn’t matter if it’s a sewing machine, a character that I’ve created, or an insect. I love making things and learning how they function and how to apply that to the pieces that I make.I spend a lot of time doing something that has to do with art, sculpting or 3D modeling. I don’t really tend to shut off that way. Even if I’m on a break I usually end up watching tutorial videos or just playing around in software to learn new techniques, that or I’m drawing in Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint. But there are the times when I will play games, but that usually is cut short by me getting inspired to try something new and running off to put that inspiration into action. While I am working though I spend a lot of time listening to podcasts about mythology or retelling of classic literature, or I’m just listening to audiobooks of some of my favorite books (like Lord of the Rings!)All-in-all, I put a lot of detail into my work, so I spend a lot of time researching or getting to know the thing that I’m creating. Like with characters I want to make them feel like this person could be alive. From things like little birth marks or scars, to scratches in the clothing and just little details in the texturing. I put a lot of love into all of the pieces that I create. Because I want to draw in peoples attention, or captivate them somehow! But I know most of the time, those little details will only be noticed by me, and that’s okay! That’s the fun part about making something as vast as a 3D character!Thanks!
