"Placing others above yourself" is a quote I attempt to exemplify in every title I have, whether that be professional or personal. In serving my country and community, in the Army, I place the people above the needs of myself. I strive to be a great officer in the US Army, which is why I attended the University of South Florida and have commissioned and graduated from USF and their ROTC program as an Aviation officer. I have done my best to be a leader and build my teams around me in any unit, humbly learning how to match my leadership qualities with the needs of the organization and personnel. I reference the Army core values, Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage as my guide to being a successful soldier, leader, and person.Beyond service to my country, I have a drive to succeed that will never be satisfied. I attempt to learn as many things as I can in order to be as well-prepared and knowledgeable of each subject I may encounter. In work that has come in the form of learning sports officiating to better assist my staff, or being taught the report system used to communicate with higher management so that I may be in a position to write a report myself. As a young professional, I am honed in on expanding my skillset and entering the workforce with aspirations to lead and rise in my company to achieve team success. This comes with many study hours and practicing for exams and projects so that the execution is seamless. As a coach and mentor, my drive is focused on bringing someone to a new level unimagined by themselves, whether it be physically or mentally. Success for myself is creating a successful team and environment wherever I go, and whatever role I am in. I always aim to be an organizations best asset, not its worst liability.
