Responsible for all aspects of business operations, including distribution, logistics, customer service, quality, HR, procurement and finance.Developed stocking plan and inventory management program that resulted in a 99.4% cycle count accuracy while reducing inventory levels from $11M to $5.5M.Utilized a combination of inventory planning and production scheduling, including both Mexican and Chinese manufacturing facilities, to improve divisional OTD from 30% to 92%. Developed and implemented a regionalized order fulfillment model that reduced distribution cost as a percent of sales from 7.2% to 2.1%.

Management responsibility for distribution and logistics operations for a $600M pool equipment manufacturer.Core member of outsourcing team chartered with design and implementation of Mexican manufacturing facility and sourcing pump motors in China.Designed and implemented just in time based routing and scheduling system that:• Reduced departmental head count from 65 hourly and 5 managers, to 40 hourly and 2 managers.• Reduced distribution square footage by 160,000 sf., an 85% reduction that allowed the insourcing of two facilities• Reduced total non-freight related spend by over $1,000,000.00 in first year, a 20% reduction.• Increased on time delivery from 30% to 95%.• Reduced distribution cost as a percent of sales from 3.5 to 1.7.
