Behind the efforts of Noah Finz, Finz Creative Programming built Vantage SportsNet for Frontier Communications. The cable company used the exclusive channel to add subscribers and enhance its public image. Finz provided all aspects of the network, including programming, distribution, commercial insertion, production of all content, studio, advertising sales, and on-air hosting. The network's signature show, "CT Sports Now," created a new model for local sports coverage and in the process trained college students in ways of working in sports media. The show was picked up by a local affiliate, where it achieved ratings success.

Managed sports department for ABC affiliated television station in Connecticut. Proved to be a ratings driver by building creative segments within daily newscasts. In addition to producing segments, shot video and edited content. Created long-form programming. Produced and anchored weekly coach's shows with UConn football and basketball. Produced and hosted specials on professional tennis and golf tournaments. Created a nightly expanded segment to help station in ratings battle.

Austin, Tx

Part of start-up operation at the CBS television affiliate in Austin, TX. As the market's newest television news operation we had to differentiate ourselves from the established stations. I had to find stories that had not been done and that the others in the market had never covered in addition to covering top tier college sports at the University of Texas, the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and high school sports.

Santa Barbara, Ca

Managed sports department and all sports content for ABC affiliated television station. In addition to regular coverage, I built the high school football coverage, Friday Football Focus, from a 15 minute feature to a 45 minute ratings bonanza. The show was well known throughout Southern California and the Central Coast. KEYT was where I first learned to accomplish big things with little resources.
