My expansive and diverse cooking style is the result of living in and experiencing different cultures throughout the United States. From the Hispanic, Cajun influences of Texas, to the Pacific seafood and organic styles of Northern California, the all-encompassing Chicago - home of Taste of Chicago (the world's largest food fair) to the traditional, Atlantic seafood styles of Northern New England. I have experienced the heart and fullness of American (global) food and culture.Because of my innovative fusion of classic French cuisine with Ethno-Comfort, I have acquired the honor of winning Portland Maine's Golden Skillet award for two consecutive years. I have worked at many of Portland's finest restaurants and eateries (Portland was named America's foodiest small town by Bon Appétit magazine in 2009) and I now showcase my culinary talents as Executive Chef and Owner of Farmhouse Culinary.
