As a Purchasing Representative, I review sales orders created by our SHI sales teamand Process SHI Purchase Orders (POs) with a large number of IT vendors using a variety of ordering methods, such as electronic ordering (EDI/XML). This also includes resolving order issues with SHI Sales Representatives and our IT vendors and expediting follow ups with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of purchase orders. I form and maintain vendor relationships to meet SHI’s performance, efficiency and pricing requirements. Throughout this position I must actively communicate and interact with various internal departments including Inside Sales, Accounting, Hardware, Licensing, Warehouse and our Technical teams.
