Brainstormed 4 design alternatives for fixture; followed the engineering process and used input from mentors to select a design; ran deformation simulations using loading data obtained from experimentation.- Optimized the part final inspection process by designing go and no-go gauges used to verify the profile preciseness of common generator components, eliminating the need to manually inspect 85% of critical dimensions.- Created a machining order of operations for over 180 labyrinth seals and radial compressor components.
