Protective Agent
CurrentI have worked at several of the Chase client sites, and have spent most of my time establishing myself at the Emery Hotel. Initially, I started as the Day Shift Guard, and quickly learned the ins and outs of the building. I worked to identify and mitigate the building's primary vulnerabilities and threat types. Between the efforts of me and my counterparts, Hotel management noted a near-immediate downtick in problematic traffic to the public lobby areas.I noted a few issues with information continuity between shifts and asked to implement a new system, which resulted in all Guards having access to all previous shift reports. This cut down on billable time during shift debriefs and enhanced each Guard's ability to reference incidents on previous shifts.I noted several technical issues with the Hotel's panic-button system, intended for use with its housekeeping staff. Leveraging my previous IT experience, I worked with product support and Maintenance to significantly improve the reliability of the system. The hotel is situated downtown, and so it gets a lot of unhoused traffic. I make it a point to offer connections to local Housing, Food, and Medical services for the unhoused individuals passing through the hotel property.I still cover these responsibilities every day, as well as representing Chase at their board meetings as an Account Manager. Additionally, I am in the process of integrating the Hotels branding in the creation of a new SOP for current and future Security efforts at Emery.Something I am excited for in the near future with Chase, is my first experience doing Close Protection for a VIP. This is a personal passion of mine, and I am proud to have been selected for an upcoming detail.
