My name is Noah Smith and I am a student at Deakin University studying a Bachelor of Law/International Relations. I have recently been elected as a student councillor at the Deakin University Student Union and as a National Union of Students delegate. As a newly elected student councillor and N.U.S delegate, I aim to bring further welfare services for university students at Deakin and University students across Australia. This includes increasing accessibility to food pantries and other student welfare services to over 5,000 students in 2024 from 4,000 in 2023.As I progress through my degree, I look forward to my international experience unit. This will allow me to expand my knowledge of intercultural communication and pair it with my law degree.
