I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen and I'm currently attending a Master’s course in Computer Vision, Robotics and Machine Learning at the University of Surrey in the UK. My studies target the computer science domain, mainly in the AI sector. More specifically I hope to apply AI and develop new software to solve physical problems. His interests lie in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering as well as the computational simulation of animal behaviour. I grew up in a very international environment. After completing primary school in Bologna, Italy I moved to Madrid, Spain, where I subsequently attended and completed both secondary and high school at an international school completely in English. This has allowed me to pick up both Spanish and English in addition to Italian as proficient and native languages respectively. In keeping with my internationalism, I then used these languages in my studies abroad to gain a deeper understanding and friendliness for differing cultures and customs. Recently I have returned to Italy seeking work experience, to tie my university studies with an opportunity in the software development industry. During my academic career I explored the use of machine learning models for the recognition and classification of Sperm whale-emitted sounds. Furthermore, he also developed a Reinforcement Learning agent capable of playing the board game Mastermind, by treating the game as a Markov Decision Process. Among other projects, Noam used the NetLogo simulation environment to research what behaviour fish in a bait-ball follow as a strategy against predators.
