As part of my responsibilities, I was entrusted with the task of rebuilding a new classified lab environment from scratch to enable efficient delivery of high-quality services to our clients. The project involved designing and implementing a complete infrastructure setup consisting of two physical ESXI hosts, each hosting eight virtual machines, spanning key operating systems such as Windows Server, Windows 10, Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 18.04, and CentOS.To support the infrastructure, I also integrated two Dell switches, a backup server with Veeam software, and a Synology NAS to ensure sufficient data storage for our high-level customers. I was responsible for setting up all domain services and implementing suitable configuration and security protocols to safeguard user data.One of my key contributions was in testing and implementing Centrify, a centralized authentication solution that facilitated efficient management of user accounts and passwords between Linux and Windows systems across various networks. To streamline the implementation and deployment process, I developed custom bash scripts designed for use with Landscape.As the scale of the network infrastructure grew, I introduced Landscape, a network package management tool, that allowed us to centrally manage compliance checks and release software updates across all Ubuntu machines within the LGS/CACI enterprise. This feature achieved a new level of efficiency in deploying software updates and ensured uniformity across all networked systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
