I believe that the Schooling system in the country is in need of reforms, especially in areas of skill development.Served in Youth ministry from 2010 -2014Learned that Young people are starving for direction, especially with career choices.Lead the Media team in first ever Youth Conference in KeralaLearned that putting together a team is a humongous task.Founded 'The Ed-Venture Project' in 2012 - OngoingLearned that children value connections more than things.Founded 'CICshop' - Workshops on Creativity, Innovation and ChangeLearned that there is a lot of creative potential waiting to be tapped in students.Founded Storytime, a global network of volunteers in 2013 - OngoingLearned that Storytelling is key to education.Got invited to speak at TEDx in 2016Learned that those small ideas of yours matter, and that it is worthwhile pursuing some of them.Started working as a software developer in 2014Learned that there are plenty of people to do that.Started working in ESAF, a development organisation.Learned that I needed more hard skills if I were to sustain in the development sector.Was chosen a William J Clinton Fellow at the American India Foundation.Learned that 'local people, local money and strong local communities' are the pillars to solving poverty.Enrolled for a Master's in Public Policy.Learned that every developmental problem is 'wicked' and we have a long and twisted path ahead.Currently serving in the capacity of a Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte and has been awarded Deloitte Purpose MVP award in 2023.Learned that there's plenty of ideas and frameworks out there to help solve the most complex of problems.Over the Years, I have come to a deep realisation that it is together that we build a sustainable, equitable, and resilient future of ourselves and the coming generations.
