After an initial contract with a charity I have followed my passion to work full time in the Not For Profit sector where I am the l Manager of Property and Heritage. In this role I am responsible for History & Heritage, sites, buildings, facilities, assets, tenant management, and lease arrangements – supporting DCA’s operations. I was previously the GM of Fundraising responsible for development and management of external relationships and income generation including Donors, Partners, Corporates and Philanthropy. This role includes management of the Telemarketing team, Appeals, Trust Applications, Bequests, Events, Marketing, Community relations, external partnerships and development.I have previously worked in Sales and Relationship management roles in the Telecommunications, Utility and IT industry across Australia and New Zealand. I also have a long history of working with community and NFP boards and spent a number of years as the Chairman of a national children’s charity.Through my career I have worked for a number of companies including: Deaf Children Australia, Oracle, ClickSoftware, TUSC (an Ericsson Company), General Electric (Smallworld), Nortel, Telcordia (Bellcore) and Ericsson. I have a passion for relationship based partnerships and have worked with customers at all levels of their organizations. I have a close relationship and worked with Telstra, Telecom NZ, Telstra Clear, Optus, Jemena, SP AusNet, Powercor, Energex, SA Water, Origin Energy, SPARQ Solutions, Hunter Water, United Water, City West Water, Energy Australia, IBM, SAP, Accenture, Satyam, Tata, Infosys and others.I have also been a director and leader of membership based and community organisations ranging from Surf Life Saving to Children’s charities to rowing and football clubs.Specialties: I map the expectations and needs of my employer with the wants and needs of the market to obtain a contractual financial agreement.
