I started my career as a consecutive interpreter. My first experience was for a non-profit religious organization called LA MISIÓN, they hosted international events where Americans would participate as speakers during faith-based workshops, counseling sessions and social events. My next experience was as a bilingual telemarketer for TELEPERFORMANCE, this agency referred me to work for a Telecommunications company. They provided a two months training program during which I was trained as a customer service representative to lear about over-the-phone protocol, accent training, English vocabulary and grammar.After that, I worked as a bilingual administrative assistant for JASPER HOLMES DATA MARKETING TEAM, a Real Estate consultant with a branch office in Buenos Aires. I was responsible to create and update spreadsheets with real estate data. I also handled the company's credit card and checkbook and trained new employees remotely to those located in Florida or in person to those located in the Buenos Aires office.I also worked for LANGUAGE LINE, LANGUAGE SELECT and LANGUAGE LINK remotely from Argentina. Before I was hired by these agencies I went through a two-month training program to learn about interpreter protocole and best practices, medical and legal vocabulary, note-taking and medical conditions and procedures.GMR is an agency that provides assignments for translators and transcriptionists, I worked for this company as both, either transcribing files from audio to Word or .pdf format and then translating such files into English or just translating documents from Spanish into English.MARTTI is an interpreter's agency that I worked for remotely as an interpreter either in the medical field or interpreting for social workers and customer service agents.GLOBO is the interpreter's agency that I currently work for as a remote medical interpreter, but also as an interpreter assisting social workers, insurance and customer service agents.To continue my education I recently participated as of the following certified events:. “A response to interpreter’s services during the Pandemic" hosted by INTERPRET AMERICA on March 26th., 2020.. "Interpreting the Coronavirus" hosted by NOTIS on April, 1st., 2020. . “The critical role of healthcare interpreters during the COVID-19 pandemic: legal and practical implications” hosted by NCIHC on April 25th., 2020.
