Manage guest service staff throughout zoo day in all areas of guest services to ensure our guests make memories at the zoo during each visit and all areas under the guest services’ umbrella run smooth and safe.• Main ticketing – managing the guest services staff selling tickets directly to guests on the zoo main plaza with up to four ticketing drawers and up to $10,000 in average daily sales during peak season as well as up to two staff managing the seven automated ticketing kiosks with sales averaging $15,000 in average daily sales during peak season as well as handling the electronics associated with the seven kiosks to ensure they remain operational for sales.• Lobby – managing up to five guest services staff and their cash drawers. Lobby guest services agents are responsible for membership enrollments, membership concerns, school field trip check-ins, lost and found identification for guests, checking in dogs that need lodging for the day while their owners are at the zoo, checking in Special Pass guests, and answering general zoo and aquarium related questions.• Redemption – managing up to eight guest services staff that handle checking guests in through the main gates daily through either their membership or purchased tickets, identifying guests entering the zoo with items that are on the restricted items list, checking in service animals, communicating with security for all potential risks, and working to reunite separated parties.• Rides – managing up to twenty-five guest services staff for our train, tram, skyfari, carousel, splash pad, stingray beach, and ride kiosk management to ensure that all are running on time, operated safely, and adjusting as necessary for lunch breaks and/or weather conditions.

• Manage all gas utility meter reading networks, systems, and equipment for both drive-by radio retrieved and AMI tower readings on 1.2M natural gas meters across six states and four reading platforms.• Ensure accurate and efficient gas meter readings for billing, network planning, lost and unaccounted balancing, and customer presentment.• Manage data flow and integration with EnergyIP meter data management system and CIS+ customer information and billing systems.• Design monthly metrics for read completion tracking, accuracy rates, and designing KPIs while ensuring systems and processes can align with company’s values and peer benchmarking platforms.• Use meter reading infrastructure and future available infrastructure options to plan available safety and reliability management of natural gas network while maintaining continued meter reading offerings accurately and in a timely, efficient, and secure manner.• Work with field measurement technicians to handle calculations of gas overages or losses in billings for incorrectly programmed/calibrated/registering large capacity metering, volume corrector, or electronic reading device.

• Manage ongoing billing operations for 1.2M natural gas meters, 220,000 electric meters, and 15,000 appliance repair contract billings.• Design strategies and benchmarking for growth, improvement, and employee development within the billing programs while ensuring continued data integrity.• Maintain, grow, and ensure continued support of the Meter Data Management System for all electric and gas meters contained within its structure.• Focus on forward movement and development from the data contained within the Meter Data Management System for billing, regulatory, gas purchasing, power generation, revenue and finance, and audit practices.• Design, develop. configure, test, and implement Meter Data Management System for automated meter reporting of approximately 825M electric and natural gas meter readings per month with active integrations through eight states for both utilities and through multiple business systems/applications.• Create reporting and analytics for proactive responses and usage prediction using the retained data within the Meter Data Management System.• Develop and implement in-house demo of electric AMI system with Meter Data Management System automation for Board of Directors meeting to demonstrate the remote disconnect and reconnect capabilities for electric meters as well as the Outage Management System notification ping from the meter once services have been interrupted.• Present findings of web survey and business integration along with future integration planning for the Meter Data Management System and web usage presentation to Department of Energy on a quarterly basis for company’s grant.

• Moving all customer service processes and department from Aquila, Inc in Kansas City, MO to Black Hills Energy in Omaha, NE after sale of utility.• Manage the daily workload and employee scheduling for up to three departments of five to fifteen team members per team.• New employee life-cycle management which includes hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, any necessary disciplinary action, and up to termination if necessary.• Manage the business processes to meet the needs of the customer and company while adhering to regulatory guidelines and verifying all employees are following procedures and policies.• Establish benchmarking standards and KPIs for all credit and collection processes.• Reporting to the American Gas Association for comparison against peer utility companies.
