Noel is a CPWA (Certified Professional in Web Accessibility) and Senior Manager in Experience Engineering based out of Publicis Sapient's Toronto office. He has over 24 years’ experience in Frond End Technologies, with 14 years at PublicisSapient. Noel has overseen large development projects for some of the largest companies in all industries as well as leading teams that have won several Industry awards. He has led companies from being the least accessible companies to the top 5% of the most accessible sites in the world.Noel has worked with technologies all the way back from Backbone to current frameworks like React, Vue and is interested in using Web Components on any new projects.Currently, Noel is an Accessibility Lead and is part of Publis Sapient's Accessibility Centre of Excellence. He works with leadership and all disciplines on Accessibility. He is responsible for identifying, monitoring and remediation of accessibility issues. He also oversees accessibility training and policy development for the account.In previous roles, Noel has also lead several Teams on Accessibility, Analytics and Special Projects forFCA. For his Accessibility work, he lead the team of React developers to re-work existingcomponents to meet the WCAG Level AA compliance. His work on the Analytics Platform,included a Team of developers to migrate the current FCA DTM platform over to theLaunch platform, and the Ram Cargo Configurator project included an India Team tocreate a new app for users to visualize upfits for various Ram Trucks.
