Experienced Voice Director and Sound Designer for the Sims 4 base game and consecutive expansion packs. Designed and headed a voice production pipeline based on an improvised language (Simlish) that relied on precise emotional performances. Trained, managed, and worked closely with teams of contract voice editors. Responsible for audio tagging, scripting and studio voice direction, recording, editing, mastering and implementation. As a Sound Designer I was responsible for creating unique SFX for a wide range of game objects. My process relied on foley (or field) recording, signal processing, and the occasional sound library (proprietary and other) supplements. The goal was to create audio that brought a colorful and nuanced tone appropriate for the Sims 4 player experience rather than simply realistic audio.
