Senior LecturerOxford Brookes University Sep 2024 - PresentOxford, England, United KingdomBA Graphic DesignMy role as a lecturer focuses on Design Processes, Visual Systems, and Professional and Entrepreneurial Practice. I aim to encourage an experimental mindset and approach to graphic design using both analogue and digital media. The briefs I develop challenge conventional storytelling and explore ways to define a visual language within social, cultural, and commercial contexts.Through my teaching, I aim to promote a ‘sustainability mindset,’ examining what it means to be a contemporary graphic designer within social, political, and environmental contexts. Over the past few years, I have developed teaching case studies in partnership with non-profit organizations and cultural institutions such as Greenpeace, Fashion Revolution and Bodleian Library, inspiring students to develop their voices on global issues and use graphic design to articulate complex narratives. -
