My duties and responsibilities were, but not limited to:• Managing profitability, performance and operational targets for transport operations• Managing all storage and handling operations within the agreed operational standards• Ensuring the effectiveness of stocks by ensuring product losses and gains are within tolerance• Taking over the management of a new team in the absence of its team leader to maintain productivity.• Ensuring full implementation of company policies and procedures.• Reviews, analyses and recommends methods, systems and practices to improve all aspects of depot operations.• Ensuring the company’s reputation and license to operate is maintained by compliance with the relevant legislation and safety requirement.• Delivering and enforcing all aspects of by company’s performance management parameters.

As a graduate I was involved in different projects in various departments at the BP terminals such as Storage and handling,Operations,Procurement, HSE and Transport operations. I was part of the Continouus Improvement project aiming at reducing product cross contaminations at depots.
