• Primarily to offer leadership support to the team in the absence of the Centre Manager, social services Co-ordinator and supervisor. • Providing team with information that will improve their knowledge on pillars of Gender based violence prevention, sexual abuse victim empowerment for adults & children with mental disability and caring for self and others.• Responsible for ensuring that Planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation plan put in place for GBV and Mental Health is active by using other programmes like Thuthuzela Care Centres and other relevant stakeholders.• Representing the organisation and giving feedback to funders with regards to the programs.Psychosocial services Social Work - Psychosocial Support • Providing employee wellness support to fellow colleagues.A primary source of comfort and upholder of the rights of all victims of crime.• Render services with regard to care, support, protection and development of vulnerable individual, families, group and community.• Link and refer the clients with the relevant stakeholders and follow up the process.• Planning and co-ordinating awareness programmes with other Stakeholders.• Advocating for Survivors of Gender Based Violence rights.• Overseeing, planning and preparing a basket of interventions with a minimum of 5 sessions for a successful Support Group.• Conducting assessments to identify the needs, create and implement the treatment plan. • Facilitating the admission and discharge process at the Centre for the Gbv victims.• Conducting and facilitating Re unification as well as providing ongoing support to clients who have been discharged from the Safe house.• Facilitating therapeutic activities at the organisationAdministrative duties and Reporting• Producing accurate financial and narrative reporting of programs at monthly and quarterly intervals for management and as required by Funders.• Responsible for compiling monthly and quarterly report for management statistics
