GIS Mapping for Natural Features Protection Overlay District Mapping. Staff liaison for the NFP Board.Assisted in drafting the Community Sustainability Plan by researching, writing, and creating graphics for the plan. Oversaw and implemented the Kalamazoo Roots Container Gardening program as a City Liaison in partnership with Kalamazoo Valley Community College Food Innovation Center staff.Organized and Developed the Kalamazoo-Area Bicycle Show in 2023 and 2024. Assist with implementation of Neighborhood Plan projects from adopted neighborhood plans. Conducted engagement work related to several grant funded Street projects including the Safe Streets for All and Streets for All initiatives in Kalamazoo.Liaison to the City of Kalamazoo Complete Street Advisory Committee.

Worked under the Sustainable Development Coordinator, Planners, and the Natural Features Protection board to work through Phase II of the Natural Features Overlay District. This required utilization of ArcGIS Pro and Geographic Information System knowledge to research and compile credible data and to update the current NFP overlay district.

Facilitated and taught three Physical Geography Lab courses at the undergraduate level. I graded students work in a timely matter, answered email questions and completed other duties as assigned.

I had been a member of the Student Staff for the majority of my undergraduate academic career. I was promoted to the Student Staff member level III and progressed from basic administrative tasks to assisting Professors in course design and management. Educat, Northern Michigan Universities course management system, is the main connection between students and Professors. Tasks include working with gradebook aggregation methods and setup, testbank uploads and quiz making, and general troubleshooting at an administrative level . I've aided multiple Professors across multiple departments to apply best course design practices.

I helped customers look for/find/select/ and purchase clothing from our Younkers store. I kept the Men's Department clean and well organized. I handled the POS and Order Management systems. I answered phone calls, and worked with large amounts of money when opening and closing registers.
