Responsible for planning, development, and execution of Southwest's Emergency Response Program. Leads projects and initiatives to enhance resources, plans, and the overall response to disruptive events. Influences, and advises all Southwest departments on response initiatives.

Responsible for training and directing platoon level operations including; tactical movement, individual and crew-served weapons qualification, vehicle maintenance, security operations (screening), route/area/ and zone reconnaissance. Collects, evaluates, and assists the Commander/ Operations officer in planning, organizing, directing, supervising, training, coordinating, and reporting activities of the Scout or Armored Cavalry platoon. Manages distribution and adjusts direct and aerial fires in combat. Employs OPSEC and CASEVAC measures. Coordinates and conducts platoon resupply.

Oversight of development of solving complex problems during operations in coordination with joint, interorganizational, multinational partners

Responsible for the development, oversight, and implementation of District policies, procedures, and acomprehensive District Emergency Operations Basic Plan, 26 multi-hazard annexes, and 80 individual campus emergency operations plans, special event action plans, and creation of external emergency policies. Prepares, plans, and responds to various emergencies and events at campuses; and provides critical emergency training, such as drills and evacuations, to district administration and campus personnel. Serves as a liaison between school district administration and 5 separate local jurisdictional fire and police departments, and collaborates with police, fire, and local stakeholders that comprise the District Safety and Security Committee.

Lead and managed teams responsible for the implementation of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery programs in the Tarrant County area, to include: Community Outreach, Mass Care, Damage Assessment, Public Affairs, Government Liaison, and Disaster Response.Coordinated and planned exercises, trainings, and various special events. Served on several major disaster relief operations as Planning Section Chief, that managed teams responsible for developing incident action plans, preparing situation reports, conducting damage assessment, and resource tracking

Drafted a comprehensive Debris Management Plan in coordination with the Public Works department, following FEMA debris management public assistance guidelines. Maintained and updated Standard Operating Procedures and corresponding annexes.

Maintained route operations for over 80 clients and delivered products to new and existing customers.
