Assisted students with testing center needs and by administering College Course tests.

I taught Algebra I and II. I successfully evaluated student learning and set goals accordingly. I was proficient in writing productive lesson plans. I implemented differentiated instruction by use of videos, power-point, and hands on activities. I have also become proficient in creating and editing courses and coursework using Moodle Software. I attended meetings regularly where I was able to assist and provide feedback on current Curriculum creation and productivity. I regularly attended several professional development courses throughout the academic year. I planned and conducted activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. I was selected in August 2013 by Focus North High School's Director to represent on the District Leadership Board. In 2013, I also was selected to design, create and be admin for Focus North High School's official website.

Through extensive background review, I was selected by Malika Hobbs, Program Manager for the $90 million Minority Serving Institutions Program (MSI) at the National Nuclear Security Administration. Due to the fact that I exceeded the programs expectations and was accepted to participate in the MSI Internship Program, I was placed in New Mexico. Selections for this Internship are made each spring for summer placement. For consideration, applicants had to be enrolled as a degree-seeking student maintaining a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 and be in good academic standing with his University. In addition, I was told that I had an exceptional resume, GPA, transcript and came equipped with many letters of recommendation from colleagues and supervisors. NNSA strives to only choose highly skilled individuals to represent America’s rich diversity, and I was honored to be on of those individuals. I was able to display my will and drive to gain real-world work experience related to my academic background. I worked very hard combining my studies with on-the-job training showing my ability to create and carry out a quarter’s worth of coursework and responsibilities.
