Experienced leader who loves working with organizations to drive change through technology. I have a passion for identifying opportunities for improvement. Having found opportunities, I enjoy building teams to deliver results.I have experienced a wide range of environments, industries, and roles. I have seen small/mid-sized companies grow into mid-sized/enterprise businesses and experienced the operational challenges of growth through acquisition. I have a broad and unique perspective as a team leader.Three vital skills have helped me succeed:Project leadership – I have led numerous projects during my career. As the leader of a Disaster Recovery initiative, I simultaneously assumed responsibility for a server/storage/network replacement project. My team successfully delivered and tested an effective Disaster Recovery strategy in six months.Budget management – Curiosity helps me to see the bigger picture. My experience allows me to quickly identify cost savings and patterns of spending while finding ways to save in the future. I led efforts to deliver savings by right-sizing the IT environment and reducing wasteful spending; e.g., unneeded services, license renewals.Strategic planning – A key responsibility of an IT Director is short and long-term strategic planning. One of my success stories is SD-Wan implementations. At my last 3 companies, I selected and implemented technology to drive interoffice connectivity while lowering costs.I am capable of seeing things through the eyes of my team members, as well as from the company’s position. I create positive results while supporting the needs and vision of both. I have professional experience building teams, training, and encouraging professional growth.
