- Analysis of financial transactions and statements to forecast potential losses and recommend write offs - Conduct root cause analysis to evaluate risk and make recommendations to reduce / control risk in the Sales and Marketing department and Insurance department- Monitor risk processes to identify and report on possible risk where applicable - Fraud investigations - Propose and implement new Risk improved models and methodologies. - Log operational losses, report on the losses on a monthly basis and conduct loss reconciliations- Ensuring Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting standards are embedded in the processes and there is adherence to BCBS239- Key Risk Indicator analysis, identification and monitoring- Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements - Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies- Doing Risk review through monitoring - Monitor effectiveness of the controls of the key risks identified- Operational Process mapping and reviews- Risk assessment and identification on Robotic Process Automated - Reporting to department Heads and report writing- New insurance product review and approval- Monitoring of Audit findings- Critical third party and supplier assessment - Business continuity management (Business Continuity Plan, Business Impact Risk Assessment, Business Continuity Assessment Plan)

- Credit assessment of new finance deals of R1 million and above (individuals and juristic)- Credit analysis- Obtains and assesses client and financial information, including management accounts and cash flow forecast where required, with a view to understanding the current debt levels and repayment requirements- Engages Business to understand client requests, their business, financials and potential collateral available- Liaison with Finance and Insurance managers and outstanding info or advising further- Correctly applies legislative requirements such as the National Credit Act- Determines the best possible lending solution for the client and the Bank - Prepares motivations and recommendations for applications falling outside the delegated authority and presents this to appropriate authority levels(Credit managers)- Checking ITC and CIPC to check credit profile- Fraud analysis - Advising on equity, deposits, etc, to help with better scoring of deals - Declining deals where lending isn’t possible
