I'm responsible for the overall operations of the organization including oversight of operations, marketing/communications, and development functions. I'm responsible for the creation and management of policies and procedures maximizing efficiency for the organization. Through my role, I am able to provide strategic visioning, administration, and implementation of operations, marketing/communications, and development efforts to increase organization’s position in the field and increase awareness and utilization of services. NSPN is a 501c3 owned by the YMCA of Greater Louisville and operates nationally-recognized programs including Safe Place.

The Association for Child & Youth Care Practice, Inc. (ACYCP) is a membership organization of Child & Youth Care practitioners, service providers, and state and regional associations committed to improving the profession of child and youth care (CYC).

CYCCB provides an assessment process and certification to child and youth care practitioners who demonstrate their commitment to high standards of care and ongoing competence development. The CYC certification program is the most rigorous demonstration of competence in the field. CYCCB is led by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of members elected by CYC Certified Practitioners or appointed by the Board to represent key partnering organizations. Board terms are for 4 years or run concurrently with partnering organization leadership roles. Leadership and management are provided by officers elected by the Board who compose the Executive Committee.

Fostering Connections is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 that uplifts local children and youth impacted by foster care or trauma by providing needed essentials, educational programs, and community connections. Fostering Connections strongly believes that all children have unique gifts and talents to share with the world and need to know that they deserve to feel loved and valued by their family and supported by their community. The volunteer Board of Directors and Advisory Council consists of caring community leaders who are passionate about helping youth in foster care and foster parents make family feel like home. Fostering Connections consists of a diverse group of professionals and several board members are currently foster parents or have served in that capacity.Fostering Connections provides needed essentials and enrichment opportunities to children impacted by foster care or childhood trauma. In addition, the organization works to make a trauma-informed community through support to families impacted by trauma, trauma-informed care trainings for the community, and connecting volunteers to opportunities to give support.
