Dubai Refreshments is the sole franchisee of all Pepsi Co beverages in Dubai and Northern Emirates whereby the Company manufactures and distributes all the Pepsi Cola products in the region.Worked till July 17 as Senior Director Financial Operations in the Company having responsibility to supervise the whole Finance function (25 people with 5 direct reports)Following are some of the key achievements during the tenure:• Key member of the team contributing towards the transformation of the Company from the profits of around AED 14 million in 2008 to around AED 120 million in 2016. This was achieved through various initiatives including pricing management, restructuring of sales contracts, outsourcing the non-core functions of the Company, renegotiating payment terms with customers/suppliers, restructuring of commission and incentives, rationalizing marketing spend and promoting high margin products in the market. • Reduced Average collection period from 40+ to around 30 days through restructuring of customer agreements, revising customer limits and putting robust controls in the sales process.• Key member of the ERP implementation committee for Oracle in 2005 and led finance implementation for SAP in 2013.• Significantly contributed and supervised the whole process of preparing and presenting to Board the 5 Year Strategic Plan for the Company.• Led the project of drafting Policies and procedures for the Company in coordination with KPMG. Afterwards, successfully rolled out the implementation.• Nominated by the Board to be a part of Procurement committee to negotiate and finalize all contracts for the new Greenfield factory. Finalized contracts amounted to around AED 600 Million with various suppliers.• Significantly improved reporting process by developing monthly reporting pack from scratch to be circulated to CEO & Board of Directors.
