Nora Galvan is a rising sophomore at the University of Maryland, College Park where she majors in Communications. As an intern for Congressman Steny Hoyer's office in 2022, she conducted comprehensive research on legislative issues, assisted with drafting correspondence to constituents, stakeholders and government agencies, and managed constituent inquiries and concerns. She translated these multi-tasking skills to serving in the hospitality industry where she seamlessly prioritizes tasks and provides a high level of customer service. She learned that communication is a critical element in every workplace setting and fuels her passion for her major. Nora thrives in fast-paced settings that require strong time management skills as well as attention to detail and being highly organized. When Nora is not working with Three Oaks Center as a Communications and Business Outreach intern, she spends most of her time at the gym or with her family. Feel free to reach out and connect!
