Women in Sport Lead with Sport Ireland, tasked with leading out on and implementing the Sport Ireland Policy on Women In Sport. The policy aims to increase female involvement across all areas of sport with four key target areas; Leadership and Governance, Coaching and Officiating, Active Participation and Visibility. Work remit involves collaborating and communicating with multiple stakeholders including sporting bodies, Local Sports Partnerships and the National Governing Bodies of sport. Oversees the distribution of Women in Sport grants to National Governing Bodies and project manages all women in sport related projects within Sport Ireland. Previously IRFU Women's Rugby Development Manager with responsibility for the growth and development of female rugby across all four Provinces in Ireland. Leading role in developing policies, rugby initiatives and promotional campaigns to encourage and support more females to give rugby a try. Influential role in the establishment of the IRFU Women In Rugby Action Plan 2018 - 2023. Interested in all areas surrounding the development of women in sport.Retired Ireland XV's international rugby player with 50 caps.
