Undergraduate Researcher
Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, Morocco
As a part of an undergraduate research study abroad program I collaborated with faculty from the University of Minnesota Duluth and the Université Internationale de Rabat to design and carry out an independently led research project, in Morocco, on the impact that displacement has on migrant's identity and sense of self. From start to finish I designed the project which, in addition to living independently in Morocco for 8 weeks, involved conducting literature reviews, interviews in multiple languages, coding, content analysis, and presenting my findings in a series of poster sessions and written formats.
