As a delivery director, my responsibilities include strategic planning, service development, liaison with key customers, quality assurance, technical portfolio management and controlling of the entire service portfolio.

My work as principal consultant expanded to client account management, overlooking multiple related projects to reach business goals. At selected enterprise customers I was responsible for the entire IT solution delivery from our company spanning from pre-sales phase to the go-live milestone. I provided that our project products comply with the customer's IT strategy, provide real business value, have acceptable ROI and TCO calculations, can be managed, maintained and supported by the customer's current abilities. I was obliged to synchronize our project timelines with the customer's internal and 3rd party vendor projects, and to maintain a reliable on-time overall delivery.

As senior consultant I acquired the - sometimes controversial - roles of project manager and product manager. I was responsible for providing satisfactory and on-time solutions. My work included project risk analysis and assessment, resource allocation, project planning and project tracking. As product manager I was working between the customer and the delivery team prioritizing between features, defining architecture and providing clear and constant communication of the expected product in order to maximize the satisfaction of the delivered solution. I was constantly required to balance the product value and quality to the project goals and financial constraints.

During my time as Consultant I participated in custom application development and IT consulting projects at enterprise clients, taking project roles mainly as business analyst, software designer and developer. I built up skills that enabled me to understand customer requirements, synthetize a satisfactory and business value maximizing product specification with respect to delivery and resource constraints. I specialized in human workflow and collaboration software solutions that involved custom developed components as well as customized 3rd party server products.

During my work in the university I was mainly conducting research and created simulations to complete my PhD dissertation. I also participated in lecturing and small research projects. My completed and defended dissertation title is "Handling Classification Uncertainty With Decision Trees In Biomedical Diagnostic Systems".
